In this season, the Cry Babies discover the Cotton Candy Forest, home to the Happy Flowers—characters who are experts in perfumes and floral essences. It’s a world that quite literally smells amazing! I was deeply involved in designing this new environment, creating a dreamy forest filled with cotton candy trees and blooming fields. It was a visually rich and joyful world to bring to life.
As in previous seasons, I adapted the toy capsule packaging into the animated version of the houses, designing both the exteriors and the small greenhouses that sit atop each one. A special task this time was translating the Perfume Tricycle Playset into the world of the series. Full of charming perfume bottles and tiny details, it turned out spectacular in 3D!
This season also introduced a group of fun secondary characters: The Singing Flowers. Designing them filled my Cintiq with color and petals for quite some time!
As always, I worked as production designer, overseeing modeling and texturing across characters, props, and environments, and ensuring strong visual consistency between the toy line and the more detailed, expressive animated versions.
