Cry Babies Magic Tears S5 Frozen Frutti (concept art & production desing)
In this season, a sudden cold snap freezes the entire Tutti Frutti world—houses, forests… even the Cry Babies' outfits transform from fruity looks into delicious ice cream styles!
My main task was to redesign parts of the Tutti Frutti universe to reflect this frosty new theme. The most striking transformation was the characters’ houses, which changed from smoothie-inspired shapes to colorful scoops of ice cream with toppings—just like in the toy packaging, but adapted to look stunning in animation.
I also reimagined several props, such as the ice cream carts, and created tailored color palettes for each character’s main props to reinforce their individual personalities.
As in previous seasons, I worked as production designer, reviewing modeling and texturing across environments, props, and characters, and ensuring visual consistency between the toy line and the animated versions—while pushing for extra detail and visual richness on screen.
