Cry Babies Magic Tears S6 Tropical Island (concept art & production desing)
In this season, the Cry Babies set sail to Tropical Island, a lush and vibrant place where they meet seashell and mermaid Cry Babies. Together, they embark on new adventures around the island’s majestic volcano and its dreamy beaches.
My role focused on the visual development during preproduction, especially in shaping the overall look of the island and adapting the toy capsules into tropical houses for the animated series. Since the boat hadn’t been turned into a toy playset yet, I also took the opportunity to create early design guidelines that could inspire its future development.
This world had to feel fresh, summery, and wildly fun—blending the vibe of a tropical paradise with the adventurous spirit brought by the dense jungle and the powerful volcano at the heart of the island.
